About the Brand In 2005, Romy and Ilya founded Studio ROOF together with their three young children, inspired by the belief that creativity, play and sustainability go hand in hand. Twenty years later, Studio ROOF has grown into an internationally recognized design brand, powered by a close-knit team of ten people, with the children – now young adults – still actively involved. Since 2023, we also have our own store in the heart of Amsterdam, where the full collection comes together. All our designs are made from recycled cardboard and printed with vegetable inks.
